PSYCHO LEGAL-SERVICES
One of our significant fundamental expertise as a consultancy is Psycho-legal support service provided to Attorneys in support of their customers’ Road Accident, Medical Negligence and Loss of Support claims. SMPC develops wide-range of reports detailing any possible loss of earnings and career prospects to support the clients’ claims, by:
- Providing in-depth interviews with their clients at our locations.
- Conducting psychometric testing where appropriate.
- Undertaking extensive work place referencing to determine pre and post morbid career and earning prospects and other relevant collateral information.
- Coordinating with other medical experts
- Utilises the latest PE Corporate Services’ salary survey data.
- Delivering an all-inclusive Industrial Psychologist reports on or before pre agreed dates.
- Assimilating all other hospital records and medico-legal reports and opinions into our own report on loss of earnings.
- Developing joint minutes with opposing Industrial Psychologists as and when needed.
- Conducting pre-trial consultations with attorneys, advocates and other relevant experts.
- We also provide expert witness when required to do so.

PSYCHOMETRIC ASSESSMENT
As a Consultancy, we specialise in assessment services. We make use of a comprehensive set of assessment tools which suit a variety of human capital needs ranging from basic screening exercises for employee recruitment to advanced psychometric profiling of executives. All of our tools are appropriate for use in the South African context and numerous of them are online based and can, depending on the nature and reason for assessment, be completed remotely. We compile concise easy-to-understand feedback reports for both recruitment and development purposes with a strict 24-hour turnaround time. Furthermore, we pride ourselves on our ‘post-testing’ support service, making sure that you can turn to us for help regarding your decision-making questions. We offer in-depth feedback to all parties’ concerned, as well as support with your selection processes. SMPC’s assessment procedure classically involves the following steps:
